Facility The interior of our beautiful building follows a primary color scheme. Four main colors are used; red, purple, green, and blue. Each room is finished in one of these colors. The floor has tiles in the color placed sporadically, the counters and one wall are red, purple, green, or blue. This is not only a cheerful and attractive learning atmosphere, but children begin to recognize where their classroom is by its color. Our playground runs the entire rear span of the building. It is divided into areas for different age groups to use and brand new age-appropriate equipment is placed in each section. Security Keeping children attending our center safe at all times is obviously the top priority for us as a staff. In designing the building we have implemented several features to help insure the safety of our little ones. Security cameras are in place in several outside locations as well as in each classroom. The cameras allow administration to view any given location on campus at any given time. Each classroom is equipped with a door serving as a direct exit. However these doors are not be used routinely. There is a main hallway door which teachers use when taking their children to the playground. The classroom exit doors are to be used at times for fire drills, special occasions, and obviously in the event of an emergency. However no one can gain access into the building from the outside through these doors. They will have "dummy locks" on the outside and can only be opened from inside the classrooms. Parents can log on to their computers at work and see their child in his or her daycare setting on the computer since each room have a pan/tilt camera. Parents will be given a user name and password when they enroll their child so that they can take advantage of this cutting edge technology. The administrator also has the able to utilize these cameras to monitor what is going on in each classroom.
